15-00: We find giant friends

As we were traveling as a family to find better land with more wild game and edible plants, we encountered a group of people that looked like us but were not quite the same. They were taller and hairier. They did not wear clothes but they were in a group of families. We waved at them when they saw us and they yelled something to us and we went over to them. When we spoke to them they couldn't understand us and they didn't seem to have a language but made lots of grunting and hand movements. We called them Nefilim.

They had killed a big elephant and wanted to share with us. We started a fire to cook the meat and they were very afraid of it. I don't think they had seen a 2 footed being start a fire before. We had seen one start spontaneously before during a dry season with some lightning coming from the sky. It was very loud and it burned all the dry grass. Maybe they had experienced something similar previously?

One of the younger males seemed to like Karmen. She talked to him and taught him some words. He was able to repeat some of the words but had problems with others. He called her Kaah-maahn. Karmen asked if he had a name and he didn't understand. She put her hand on her chest and said Karmen. She then pointed to him and he understood. He didn't have a name but made a noise his parents did when they called him. It sounded like "goooh-boh-boh" so she called him Gobi. They were fast friends after that.

After a few days of being around the giants we decided to head away and separate ourselves from them. We hugged them all and tried to thank them the best we could. When Karmen went to hug Gobi he cried. He seemed to beg his parents because he wanted to go with Karmen. His parents cried but understood. They cried a while then gathered some foodstuffs to give us. It was potatoes, some apples and walnuts in a hard shell. They showed us how to take a rock and break the shell and eat the meat-like insides.

A few days travel later we found an apple tree and a walnut tree near a big lake of water. We washed ourselves and the children and set up camp.

Author commentary: I came across an interesting article that may prove scientifically that we evolved from a genealogical Adam and Eve. Read the article here: https://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2019/10/04/upcoming-book-leaves-scientific-possibility-existence-adam-eve-column/3826195002/

14-00: Another bun in the oven

Kinda ironic since both "bun" and "oven" are modern inventions and we're taking about Adam and Eve, commonly believed by Christians to be the first human beings on this planet called Earth...

Eve and I decided to do the deed again and now we're preparing for another pregnancy. Karmen and Kaine are weaned now and eating solid foods. Karmen is crawling but Kaine isn't yet. I've always wondered how all this language came into my head and how Eve and I learned to communicate with each other. Maybe I don't really remember that in the garden and we had some heavenly visitors that helped us learn the "Adamic" language? Maybe Father left that portion of our brains alone when He placed the veil on our minds? We're definitely teaching Karmen and Kaine the animal names and all the fruits and veggies we can remember and have found since our departure from the garden.

I have yet to find another jalapeƱo since our departure but I'm determined to find some more! We found a cave with some white rocks on the wall. It appears to be made from water being dripped on rocks over centuries. The rock was a little grainy and Kaine liked licking it. I tasted it and decided to name it salt. We've found it adds some flavor to the meat and helps it not spoil as fast.

We may have to find another place to call home soon. The river isn't flowing as strongly as when we first arrived and we haven't seen as many animals around either.

13-00: Sickness is a blessing?

A few weeks after the babies were born, I was scouting out a little pond a few thousand feet from the homestead (I stopped counting after 1000 since it seemed redundant). In the pond I found the leftovers of what looks like some kind of 4 legged animal. It was missing the head and one leg. I dragged it home and left it with the other animals I had killed. We cooked some meat up that night and it tasted a little "off". Next morning I am running a fever and puking all over. Eve isn't feeling too well either. Thankfully, the little ones seem fairly unaffected since they are still nursing from mama. Having been sick the first time, I don't want to have to go through that again! It was not a fun day! We burned the rest of that animal in the fire as soon as I was feeling strong enough to drag it there. It smelled even worse than when I had pulled it from the pond. Dog seems to like some of the scraps though. I found out the bones don't burn well, and dog likes to chew them. They make noise when I bang them on rocks. Boomp, boomp, boomp. Was this how music was invented? I've noticed that when we cook things in water, they seem to get softer, so I'll use this curvy monkey head bone I found as a bowl/pot and let the other animal bone do a long soak over the heat and see what happens. The soup tastes pretty good. I don't think I would have even thought about looking at the bones before I got sick. Soup is warm and tasty and helps our stomachs settle and not feel so nauseous. We prayed to Father and gave thanks for health and for not being sick for too long!

12-00: Children, blessed children

Eve came to term and the babies were delivered by yours truly (no clue, it was freaky, we both cried from the pains and joys of it all). The first one was a girl she we named her Karmen. The second was a boy, we named him Kaine. It is such a joy to see the blue eyes (Karmen) and brown (Kaine). Karmen has curly blonde hair and Kaine barely had any hair but what hair he does have is red. Such chubby cute little cheeks and ten fingers and ten toes each. We've learned by watching other little ones and their moms that they need breast milk for a while before eating solid food. Eve seems to still be eating for 3 and luckily I was able to gather lots of food and store it for later. We may have a couple of months of tubers and dried meat. We also have some meat we leave in the carcass until we cook it. I've gotten pretty good throwing a spear and killing an animal when needed. Oh and every so often I catch a fish from the river. I saw a raccoon fishing once and decided to try it. They are slippery but fairly easy to clean and taste pretty good cooked over the fire. We've found we can dry fish out in the sun too and it stores well for a few weeks. Speaking of food, it's time for dinner! Gotta run!

11-00: Twins

Eve's belly is pretty big now, I have felt 4 small feet and 4 small hands so we're having twins. I've been really busy gathering wood and food and killing an animal here and there. We have some sheep now and did the atoning animal sacrifice a few weeks ago. Eve is eating for 3 so I'm busy cooking and preserving food.

Dog had a few puppies last week. They are so cute! Oh and there are about 8 kittens running around too. We've seen lots of other animals than usual too. Love is all around us!

10-00: Sacrifice

The same visitor that taught us about fire came again with two of his friends. They told us their names were Peter, James and John. Peter is the one who taught us about fire.

They taught us the gospel of the Son. The Son would come to earth later on and give Himself as a sacrifice for all the sins of Father's children. Until then, the messengers taught us that we need to sacrifice the firstborn of our flocks as a symbol of the Atonement (when the Son would die to atone for sin). We don't have any flocks yet but we did see sheep and cow and their bellies are starting to bulge with child too. We are too select the firstborn and it just be all white (no colored spots or patches) and no broken bones. White signifies purity and holiness like the Son. They said the Son would be born of one of our future daughters many years from now. She would be called Mary and her Son would be named Jesus Emmanuel. Jesus means Savior and Emmanuel means God with us. He would also be called Christ which means the Anointed. They taught us that before we were born, Jesus was Anointed to be our Savior. We asked about other worlds like Lucifer had mentioned in the garden. At that point Lucifer appeared and wanted to join in the conversation but Peter said he was not welcomed and told him to leave. Lucifer said by what authority? Peter raised his right arm and said "In the name of our Savior Jesus Christ". With that, Lucifer left in a hurry. It's good to know that Father and His Son Jesus have authority to cast Lucifer out. James told us that when Jesus was chosen before we were born (they called it "pre-existence"), Lucifer had also been there. He told us that Father presented a plan where we would be able to choose between right and wrong and because we wouldn't be perfect, sometimes we'd choose to go against Father's commandments. Just like Eve and I did when we disobeyed Father in the garden and ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge. Because of our sins, we wouldn't be able to return to Father unless a Savior would also go down and perfectly obey all of Father's commandments so that He could take upon Himself all our sins. Because He wouldn't sin, He also would not have to die. Because His mother would be our descendant, He would have an imperfect body and could sacrifice himself by dying. Of course Father is immortal and so the Son would be able to take up His body again after dying and death could not conquer Him. Someday we would also all be resurrected and become immortal because as in Adam we all would die but in Christ we would all be made alive again. That gave us great hope! They said Lucifer had also presented an alternative plan to Father's and his plan would be that we all would return but he would force us all to return and Father would have to give Lucifer His glory. I'd prefer to choose, personally. Eve, Peter, James and John agreed emphatically too. Father chose Jesus as our Savior and Lucifer rebelled against that, along with many of Father's children who took his side. Lucifer and his followers were cast out of Father's presence, down to the earth. The war that started there is still going on and we would have to choose correctly (obey Father) or Lucifer would be able to make us his, by our own choice and his force. I hope I will always choose Father and that our children will do the same. Yet I also understand that even though I am Eve's and she is mine, we both have to choose. Forcing one to do anything would be akin to Lucifer's plan. Our children would be taught the truth and have a grace period (where Jesus' grace would cover them if they died young) and by the age of eight years, they would be responsible for their own sins. They also taught us about baptism, which is done by immersion, being a symbol of being buried by going under the water and living again. Peter told me to go to the river, a deep part where I could go completely under, and then said "Having been commissioned of Jesus Christ, I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost". I immersed myself completely in the water. When I came up, I felt renewed and very clean. They said that Father would later send the Holy Ghost to comfort us and help us. They told me to baptize Eve but instead of Peter saying the words, I would say them, then immerse Eve and help her up. When she came up out of the water, she prophesized much about our children and their children and gave many thanks to Father for having opened our eyes and taught us the Gospel. I felt that what she said was true too. It was a very happy and blessed day!

09-00: Expecting

Eve and I got real cozy last night. She and I became one. It felt very good. We'd seen dog and his mate doing the deed before and now her belly is starting to show. The wolf meat is almost gone now except for the dried meat. We found an apple tree at a bend near the river. We also found an elephant and her mate. I'd forgotten how big elephants are since the garden. And playful! They showered us with water from the river. The elephants like to eat apples too. It looks like the female elephant is expecting also. I wonder how long it takes to grow a baby?
